Now OPEN! Exhibit: "Saskatchewan Roughriders: The TeamThe Fans Built"
A celebration of the Saskatchewan Roughriders' 100 years told through text highlighted by artifacts and photographs commemorating this beloved team. Trace the history of the team beginning in 1910 with the Regina Rugby Club wearing red & black; to become the Saskatchewan Roughriders wearing green & white. Follow the 1960s, with the coming of the second golden age for the team, before being beset by three decades of financial turbulence when the Riders truly learned they had the greatest fans on earth. As their century closes out, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have enjoyed remarkable success on the field resulting in unprecedented financial gains within the League. 100 years down the road, the optimistic and determined pioneers who created the Regina Rugby Club in 1910 would not be surprised by the devotion of the Saskatchewan fans today.
