Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum A Winner!
International Association of Sport Museums and Halls of Fame 2007 Communication Awards
The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to announce two 1st Place awards in the International Sports Heritage Association's (ISHA) 2007 Communication Awards.
The 40th Annual Induction Dinner Souvenir Program received 1st Place in the Programs and Catalogues Category for museums. This is the third year in a row that the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum has achieved this recognition.
The Sport History Project book, The Hilltops: A Canadian
Junior Football Legacy, co-published with the Saskatoon Hilltops Football
Club, won in the Books or Exhibit Catalogues Category. This also marks the
third time that the SSHFM has won this category with a submission from the Sport
History Project.
ISHA is a non-profit membership organization formerly known as the International Association for Sport Museums and Hall of Fame (IASMHF) incorporated in 1971 to assist sport museums and halls of fame to develop, operate and promote their facilities in the best way possible. Today, ISHA includes more than 125 members from countries such as China, Belgium, Great Britain, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, Canada and the United States.
